Default Please help, i need your thoughts.

So i've done my research. Apparently all after market intakes whistle. I've read that it is caused by the throttle body, can anyone confirm this? Some people say they like the sound, but i can't stand it.

Is there *ANY* way to get rid of it? I am about to reinstall the stock intake to make it go away, that's how much i don't like.

Something to consider is that i couldn't hear the whistle for the first couple days after installation.

Please give me your insight, i really want to get rid of this noise.

Is it a high pitched whistle or is it just the soothing whirring it makes because your engine can finally breathe? I've never had a whistle on mine...

Double check all your connections.

I just got finished checking and double checking every connection that might cause the whistle. My guess is that it is coming from where the silicone coupler connects to the throttle body port. I have it tightened as much as possible without damaging the silicone.

Make sure that the bottom of the coupler is on right

Can you elaborate? As in where it connects to the bottom of the throttle body?

Is there any way you can take a pic of it and post it here so we can have a look?
Here is a pic of mine. Mine just came with a big piece of silicone that slides over the intake and the throttle body with clamps on both sides.
