It looks like you can push the coupler on the throttle body more. The clamp should be completely on the coupler, but past the flare on the TB. The whole idea is that the filter flows air as freely as possible while still filtering it.

Lol, first someone says to back the coupler off, now you say put it on all the way. I've done everything mentioned in this thread. I've tried setting it up several different ways in an effort to get this fixed.

I'm actually shocked that out of the experience here, nobody seems to know what this is.

SN is saying to slide the clamp back, I am saying to slide the coupler on all of the way. This whistle that you are hearing is most likely just the intake and you don't like the sound. If you want us to listen to what you think is a problem, make a video recording of it so we can hear it. You don't by chance have a tornado on there do you?

I see what you are saying now.

I know what an intake sounds like, and i honestly do not think this is something that is normal. If it was, why would everyone be telling me that i have an airleak, etcetera?

I also have tried to make a video to record the sound. Because all i have to use is a digital camera, when i made it, it did not pick up the sound, or the sound of the intake sucking from the inside of the car.

It would be unpractical, but i could someone secure the camera inside the hood to record it, but that would risk the camera being destroyed.

It seems that i am on my own with this. I know that everyone has tried to help and give their $0.02, but nothing is working. My dad says we'll go ahead and take the car to a mechanic for a tuneup and ask them about it.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but maybe a vacuum tube was damaged during the install and it's now leaking...

you can rev the engine from under the hood by turning the throttle manually. It's the part on the throttle body with the 2 cables coming from it. 1 cable is the gas pedal and the other is the cruise control.

I already said this, it only happens when the car is under load at around 2500rpm. It won't do it in neutral or by revving the engine.
