question for my intake installation
i just got the AEM short ram intake and i was wondering
right after i take out the bolts for the stock air box, do i just rip it out?
its connected to his hose thing, but i dont know how to take it out from there and i dont want to break anything...

RE: question for my intake installation
All you need to do to remove the air cleaner assembly is:
1)Remove the cover and filter element
2)Remove the clamps that hold the air intake duct to the housing
3)Remove the 2 bolts that hold the cleaner assembly to the engine compartment
4)Lift the assembly up and detach it from the fresh air duct (fresh air duct just slides in and out of the assembly)
Your short ram should have the instructions for removing the large duct attached to the throttle body. Everything 'forward' of the air cleaner assembly can remain in the car.
