should i get it or not?
so i bought a cold air intake for my car, but the company said, their having some delays in shipment , so they offered to up grade my order to a injen intake, but its a short ram, but i can still wait for the cold air if i want, what should i do?? cold air or short ram. .... oh and the cold air is a spider intake , from this website , which i trust , and have shopped with before, so what would u do if you were in my position ? and what are the draw backs for having a short ram, instead of a cold air ??

Short Ram Intake Pros: Easier to install, no need to take off bumper, less chance of hydrolock, adds a more aggressive sound, slightly better throttle response compared to a cold air intake, usually cheaper than a cold air intake, it looks cool because you have a huge cone filter in your engine bay.
Short Ram Intake Cons: Warmer Air than cold air intake.
Cold Air Intake Pros: Colder air, although it warms up a little as it goes up. The tube adds a more aggressive sound.
Cold Air Intake Cons: More chance of hydrolock than short ram intake, throttle response is not a noticeable as a short ram intake (still there though) , need to remove bumper to install (on some cars)
In my opinion, I would have to say go with the cold air intake, but its your choice and decision in the end...
