Cool Spiders in my Air Intake?!?!

Ok - I think i have posted about this before, but couldnt find a thread about it...

I have owned my 2008 accord for almost a year and I have had to take it in for a check engine light for a second time this morning because of, what i now know, there was a spider in the air intake...

Are they blowing smoke or what?

This is the 5th time i have had to take it in for a check engine light - two of which were for a spider, two were because of a pressure switch and i cant remember what the other was for...but i know it wasnt the gas cap not being on tight enough...

Any thoughts?

I've never had that happen.
I've owned 11 cars, going back to a 72 Datsun and I've never had that happen.

Even though the car is only a year old, you ARE allowed to open up the air cleaner & have a look.

Yeah, as long as you dont replace anything...checking it out is fine. There's no sacred tape on the box..open that baby up!
