Default sri help

Whats goin on guys. I just installed my first mod this morning (AEM SRI) but while I was doing it I disconnected the battery, as per the directions. The only problem is, now my cd player in the car wont play cds or the radio or anything. When I turn it on it says "CODE"....the only problem is I dont know the code! lol, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

You need the radio code. If you don't have it, the dealer can provide it but you have to remove the radio to get to the serial number. This will happen whenever you disconnect the battery.

Damn that sucks...never happened to me....just the clock resets along with the stations...but I rather have that then be in your shoes.

Just contact the dealer

Yeah the dealer will help you out, hopefully they won't charge anything. That really does suck especially since there really is no need to disconnect the negative terminal of the battery since the SRI install isn't messing with the car's electrical system. It really is just a safety measure so you don't get shocked.

damn....this sucks cuz I bought the car from one of my dads friends at work, not from a dealer. You think if I go to any honda dealer they would give me the code?

Hmm....try removing the radio....you might as well just some hands-on experience if you plan on changing the head unit (a must if you ask me)
