Default Throttle body

00 accord in-line 4cyl 2.3L vtech AEM shrt ram intake DC headers and full stainless cat back.

Im looking into gettin a new throttle body but unsure of what size. Is this a case of bigger is better? If so I have found a 70mm for 250. Is that a good price?

since you have an intake, you may see an increase in throttle response, and maybe some gains, but maybe not noticable ones. it might even cause a less stable idle. the bigger the throttle body, the more air flow, but 70mm should be plenty in this case. ive never really looked around for throttle bodies so i cant tell you if 250 is a good deal. other members should be able to though

Your better off port and polishing your throttle body that you have now.

While you might get a slight gain from using a larger TB, you lose throttle control. With other restrictions like the intake manifold port, you will effectively be at WOT before your foot is on the floor.
