Default Turbos For an '05 Accord Hybrid

I was wondering if anyone has ever put turbo mufflers on an '05 Accord 3.0 Hybrid? I was just thinking about it, not really sure I would do it.

Thanks-

why do you want a turbo muffler?
You can put any muffler on anything you just need to weld it on.

I used to use them on other cars, and had a bit of better performance without too much noise. I've heard on some cars, a less restrictive muffler can sometimes hurt either low end or high end performance. Didn't know if anyone had tried these on my type car or not. I don't have welding equipment, so an exhaust shop would have to do it. I don't want them if they flatten out performance on either end. Some cars are made to run better with more back pressure.

For your car, I'd say it's the same answer as a 2005 V-6 Accord (non-hybrid). Which I personally don't know the answer...

I don't know the answer to that one either..Maybe Desert Honda will pipe in and shed us some light on the subject...

Maybe so. No one has ever been brave enough to try 'em, apparently. I got it's annual fuel system flush, and that really has it zippy. I wish I could find something to run through it about every other fill up to keep that up year round.

Well, I called a muffler shop and the guy is going to do some research about turbos for a 3.0 hybrid.

Some clown at the Honda service dept. said I don't need to use an injector cleaner between flushes. I'd hate NOT to! That could get to be a mess in between flushes. I disagree and would bet the Lucas cleaner would be fine about every 3k miles.
