Default What is a decent header ?

Im Just Wondering whats a decent performance header ? does the sizes of the pipes have to do with this ? and is it the higher the diameter is the more power it gives out ?

4-2-1 by DC sports are the headers I had on my accord, with that and the cold air intake I noticed a difference.

With the stock exhaust at the time all I could hear was the CAI sucking all that air. But to me the sound was good

Most header manufactories makes every effort to extract the most power out of an engine. This means that pipe diameters vary by application anywhere from 1.375†to 1.75.†Collector sizes range anywhere from 2â€-2.5†depending on what makes the most power for your vehicle.

Also when I install my headers my chk engine light came on because the O2 sensor was to far down, so I had to relocate it up and that fixed the problem.

As far as I know It's just for looks, I got the ceramic because it was cheaper and it do not change colors after long use.

Most people want stainless steel for the looks. Ceramic coated are intended for better heat reduction. Im sure there might be a difference in sound resonation between the two as well
