I don't know very much about headers and I came across this one. I am wondering if this is a decent header to buy. Will it make the car sound or perform better?

I have a set of $40 ebay headers, I got them just cause I was in a pinch and didn't have a lot of money.

For the price they arent bad, but mine at least sound awful and rattle really bad. I also wouldn't expect to gain any performance from them.

 

Had a buddy who got some of those KOSpeed headers and they didn't fit wonderfully, but his sounded alright. They held up pretty well but like live2rice said you probably won't see gains.

 

I wonder if they add any kind of HP like headers are supposed to do?

 

don't bother with the ebay junk. I'm not sure what f22a you have since I don't know the trim of your cb7. But your best bet if to go to a local pick n pull and snag a f22a4 header. Best header Iv owned for my f22a. It out performs the DC sports crap as well as the Megan racing garbage. It will cost you about 40bux at a local pick n pull or junk yard. Since its OEM it will outlast most of the headers out on the market. Now if you have the money to drop on a header get a Bisimoto f22a header. Gains up to 26hp un-tuned and more with a tune.
