19" G37 rims on 07 accord coupe help
New member to the honda forums,
I need help with my accord, purchased g37 rims yesterday locally, and the front wheel measurement is 8-1/2 and rear is 9-1/2. My back wheel tire sticks out? I did not change the hub centric, I've read on this forum people having no trouble but with my car the back wheel sticks out about an inch out and when I drive over up my drive way it scratches the back bumper. Wondering if the hub centric would help in anyway, and the tire out an inch is a problem? I love the setup but wouldn't wanna ruin my car because of these wheels.

By "hub centric" are you talking about a Hub Ring? If so then it won't help a bit. The long and short of it is that those tires are too wide for your car. You might want to temporarily swap your wheels front-to-rear and see if a second set of front G37 wheels will provide enough clearance to work.

Yea I did mean hub ring, would it be a good idea getting all 4 same size tires? Your suggesting I change the two rims in the back to front? Would it affect the car driving, handling fuel consumption? Sorry I'm a new member, I personally don't know anything about cars.

My suggestion was only temporary to determine IF the narrower front wheels will clear the fenders, and IF they do, then buy two more G37 front wheels. FWIW, the tires you should be running for your car when running with 19x8.5 wheels is 225/40 R19. If your tires are either wider or have taller sidewalls (i.e. a number greater than 225 and/or a number greater than 40) then you should consider buying new tires as well as they can case rubbing and will cause speedometer/odometer error.
