Default 1995 Accord LX recurring CEL on (Code 14 or 9?)

Hello, I am new to this forum but wanted to throw this out to the community. My beloved Accord has had a recurring CEL going for about the last 6 months.
- Initially we pulled a Code 14 from the flashing D4 light and local mechanic said it was the TCU, so we found a replacement (part number match) and that seemed to do the trick.
- 3 months later, voila.. the same problem (Code 14). Replaced the TCU again and off an running again.
- 2 months later.. same thing (Code 14) and my local shop is getting tired of caring for the car. (looking for a replacement still).
- So took it in my own hands and found replacement on eBay (yes, part number matches still!)
- Replaced TCU and got the same Code 14 w/in about two miles (yes, I did pull the fuze to reset the ECU)
- friend looked on this site and said there may be a correlation with the ECU.. so bought one on eBay and...
- replaced both the ECU and TCU (yes, another TCU). So now the CEL comes on solid but has not dropped into limp mode yet.
- I did jump the code plug even though the D4 was not flashing yet while driving and the CEL flashed 9 times while the clip was in place
- I see warnings not to drive with flashing CEL, but it did not flash while driving (yet anyway)
Ideas??? I have some ability to diagnose, but have no idea where to look next? Though my wife thinks it may "be time":-(

According to the list that I have, code 14 from the TCU is "Linear (line pressure control) solenoid open or shorted".
Have you checked the wiring for that solenoid?
