I need help with any idea of why the transmission was completely fine before I took it to a mechanic shop and had new water pump , thermostat gasket and cv axles replaced. From the moment I picked it up there is a high rpm flare between second and third gear unless I let up off the gas and it shifts a little hard but not reving rpms (3000 to 5000). I took it right back and they said it must be coincidence. Nothing they could have done to it.
