Hi all,

I just replaced the Vtech solenoid (OEM) on my 2.3. All went well, engine started after a little cranking (unusual). It seemed smooth. I left the air intake tube off to leak check everything, all was good. When I went to install the tube, the harness to the (TPS?) needed to be rerouted. I unplugged it with the engine running (stupid). It stumbled a bit and died when I tried to actuate the throttle by hand. Now, it starts a little hard, it will start.

Now I have to feather the pedal to keep it running, once it gets off idle it surges badly. I can get it to accelerate up to ~ 3000 RPM, but it surges badly. Left alone, it drops down to idle. It will idle at 750 ish, fairly smooth.

Did I screw something up when I disconnected the sensor with the engine running?
