Default 2008 EX-L Coupe

This weekend I will be purchasing a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe. I am very excited about this purchase as I have been eying this car for quite some time now. I signed up on this site to see all of the modifications that can be done to it. I am not very hands on when it comes to cars but I do love them and would love to learn. If you guys can steer me in the right direction as to what are some of the best modifications for this vehicle it would be much appreciated! Thanks!

This is the vehicle I will be purchasing this weekend

Nice looking ride

One "mod" I'd suggest for the car that might not come to mind......many have added a "screen" to the lower section of the bumper.....seen too many rocks (other things) fly through there and get the AC condenser.....a member on here has a write up floating around somewhere, "mysticblue" or something like that

Congrats on the ride.

I appreciate the response. So to search for a "screen" what is the technical term for that part? It is used to shield the front bumper from rocks and debris? Also these are the things that I was thinking about doing to this vehicle: Cold Air Intake, Headers (I really want a Catback exhuast system but it will take me a while to be able to purchase that), Lower the car, Plasti Dip the rims/brake calibers (black rims/red brake calibers), HIDs, Red LEDs on the inside floor of the car, Red Bulbs for the inside lights and an aftermarket spoiler (Just a little bigger than the factory spoiler). If you have any other suggestions I am all ears.

I don't think there is a "factory/aftermarket screen". It is something that you'll have to fab up. It is to cover/protect the lower grille opening....in your pic you can see that nice big opening in the lower part and the shinny silver thing behind that......well that shinny thing is the ac condenser.....so you can think of what might happens if a small rock comes crashing into it.

Is it a four or six cyl engine?

EDIT: Was wrong on the user....see this for examples: https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...ndensor-47557/

Thank you for clearing that up for me and its the 3.5 V6 definitely didn't want to go with the 4 cylinder, wanted to go with something with a little power to it lol.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new ride! I liked it a lot, very clean looking Accord! Hopefully it will last for a good long while.

In regard to your question about the mods, how about adding a new headlights and grille to it? Some super-stylish lights equipped with lights bars or halo rings, huh? You also can change an air intake system, exhaust system or just add a body kit to it... Actually, you can do a lot, as far as car tuning go, everything depends on what you want.

We are always here to help, so do not hesitate to private message us with the questions! Enjoy the forum!
