2016 Accord new Alternator not charging
I have a 2016 Accord 4cyl, auto. About 2 months ago my battery, and alternator went bad. I had a local auto electric company rebuild the alternator, and I put a new battery in it. The car ran fine until a month went by and the car was dead, again, battery showed zero volts. I replaced the battery again then checked the alternator, I saw a small whiff of smoke coming from the alternator right under the regulator. I disconnected the battery right away. Took the alternator off and took it back the company who rebuilt it. He opened it up and it was totally melted on the inside, the pulley was locked, he said totally destroyed. He credited me my rebuild money toward a brand new alternator. At that time I replaced the battery again. I also added a new ELD, and voltage sensor. I got everything connected back up and the the alternator is not charging. I am wondering if there is an inline fuse on this car, or one in one of the fuse boxes that affects the signal to the exciter wire on the alternator that may have been taken out by this situation. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
