Hello everybody,
I have a 92 Accord LX. My auto transimission has failed, at least the transmission guy whom I showed my car said that I have to replace it. He checked the eletricals and said they are all fine. It has 122K miles on it. He said I should not invest any more money on my car. I am a student and cant afford to spend too much. The car otherwise was in good running condition. What do you recommend ? I dont use my car very often but 3 to 4 times a week within the city. How hard is it change the transmission at home?

hey welcome to the board. changing a transmission is easy as ****. thats a good project to tackle youll be very proud when your done. no doubt about it though. if your a white boy now youll be african when your done.
