Default 97 accord v6 minty fresh

Just purchased this in February with 80k miles. Leather in mint condition, original paint and stock wheels. Only bad is it needed tires and shocks. Bought tires now Im wondering what shocks should go on her. Thinking Skunk2 sport shocks since I already have Skunk2 lowering springs. Any suggestions?

They are known to have a pretty rough ride, I personally would go with Koni or Bilstein but the choice is yours. I know Skunk2 tends to be a bit cheaper .

The shocks new are $288 free shipping and bought the springs for $180. I dont mind the feel of the ride just want durability. Right now Ill drive down dirt road even the slightest dip or bump the car will make popping noises, but rides smooth on paved roads. Also when Im making turns into parking lots it pops. Sounds like shocks are blown.

The "pop" could be the struts but it cou;d be a number of other things as well. I'd spend a bit of time checking everything out.

BTW - Welcome to HAF
