Another NEwbie here.
Vitals:
2008 Accord 4-cyl
2008 Accord 4-cyl
- 42000 miles
- On 3rd set of rear brake pads
- AC/Heater Blower quits blowing altogether every so many days. Hitting a bump seems to make it resume - before it can be returned to the dealer. We've had it in to Honda several times. They claim they can't fix it if it isn't acting up while in their shop.
- Now locks aren't working properly. Using the key on the driver door to work around.

Welcome.
You should have seen a letter from Honda about the rear pads.
Make sure you dealership records your issues with the HVAC. No stored codes in the unit.
Is the battery in the key remote good....would need more detail to go further. If the battery is good. Post in the Gen Tech area with some of the details and someone should chime in....

batteries fine. lock problem seems to be gone.
we did receive a check for $13 for the break pads after replacing them the first time in 2009.
we put the car in john eagle honda today. as luck would eventually have it, the car ac quit working long enough to drive it in & prove it wasn't working. they went to get a mechanic while my wife was in with the car. he walked up, reached in - hit the firewall area on the passenger side & the ac promptly started working. i was at work but my wife said it was the same sourpuss service manager who was defiant 6 weeks ago and played dumb when I said there was info all over the internet about the problem. obviously their mechanic knew something about it.
we'll see what we pay for now. they did provide a free loaner car.
