Default First Honda car for me

Have owned a number of Honda motorcyles, but this is my first Honda car. So vehicle in question is a 1987 Honda Accord LXi 4 door automatic trans. sedan, with 83 thousand miles from brand new, and power eveything. One owner car from a pals 86 year old mother, who purchased the car new in 1987. The car still has the original exterior paint on it!
The cam belt, water pump, etc. were all changed out at 53 thousand miles. Oil has been changed every 4 thousand miles since new!
The car runs/drives perfectly. The only situation i don't like is the fact that it shutters when in drive mode, at a stop light. Engine/transmission mounts perhaps? Other than that, the car is perfect.
Ok, thats my story about my new to me, Honda Accord LXi sedan.

Check AT fluid. Should be bright cherry red. If not, needs to be changed. Do you know if the ATF has been changed? If not, see ATF changing procedures elsewhere in this forum.

Yep, one of the first things i did was change the a.t.f. out. Used Honda a.t.f. from my local Honda dealer. Changed out the engine coolant, brake fluid, oil/filter, air filter, even the power steering fluid! LOL! Next thing to do is check the valve lash on the engine valves. The spark plugs, dist. cap and rotor are only 15K miles old, so they should be fine.
Sure would like to stop the car from shaking, when in drive mode, at a stop light, however. Have to think engine/trans mounts? Other than that, at twenty three years old, the car is just about perfect!
Should think this vehicle will go at least 100K miles more without major problems. As i am 65+ years of age, might be my last car! LOL!

What's the idle RPM? Maybe too low causing the vibration?
I'm an old guy but never owned a Honda of that "vintage". Post questions over in General Tech where more people will likely see it.
