Hi all,
After browsing some of your threads i was hoping you could guide me in my future purchase. I agree with you all that an Accord is a pretty smart buy. It's seems fairly economical while having been rated very safe, and yet still a bit sporty. I have driven a friends '03 EX-V4 MT Coupe and found it to be rather enjoyable.
I've narrowed my purchase options down to either the EX-V4 or the LX-V6, both AT and 4d, and was wondering what you all considered good points or bad points when comparing the two. An important note, i haven't yet test driven either but will be soon.
Some things i'm considering:
Does the handling suffer at all with the V6?
Is the V6 overkill or a necessity?
Does one have less cabin noise than the other?
Is the AT as smooth as the MT i drove? With both engines?
Obviously, these are all questions of opinion, which will probably vary widely, but i'm interested in what you all have to say.
Either way, i imagine you'll be seeing me a fair bit around these parts in the future.

V6 is not overkill but it is not a nessecessity
V6 = less noise
IMHO V6 handles better than I4 but someone with a 7th gen car can answer that one.
Personally I would go for LX-V6 over a more loaded EX I4. with the 7th gen (2003-?) cars LX-V6 has alot of nice features.
5spd auto is a lot better than the crap us 6th gen people got
