Default Glad to be here.

Hello all,

I'm glad and sad to finally be here. I have bad news. My 1995 EX LTHR Coupe has been totaled. I was his from behind and shoved into the car in the front of me and that car into another.

My car was in near showroom condition. Black, 2.2L Vtec, 5 speed manual transmission, leather interior the whole sweet package with only 84002 original miles on the speedo at the time.

I have searched everywhere to try to find a suitable replacement with no luck. Does anyone have any ideas where I might look?

Many thanks,
95'

Welcome. You might try Bring A Trailer (BAT), as there's usually some very nice older cars listed on it. You could also look in the classifieds here and on Honda-Tech, as you never know where you might find a nice car. Same applies with looking on Craig's list and e-bay.

Thanks for the reply,
I have been watching several sites including those mentioned. I was wondering if there might be some other club or collector sites you might know of that don't pop up easy in a web search.

I frequently search the southern states (craigslist) for clean manual Accords (as well as Civics, Preludes, and non-Hondas I'm interested in), places like Atlanta, Tampa, Memphis, etc. You may have some paint fade, but the chance of rust is far lower.

Just remember, if it's too good to be true, it probably is. The scammers have been using a 1997 (?) EX with 80k miles for ridiculously low prices like $899, promising that it's a one-owner, etc.
