Hello from a noob with a 94 Accord
Hello everyone,
I'm new here. I've owned a 1994 Accord LX (2.2L, MT, 4DR) since the late naughties, but it's been stored un-driven/started in a field for the past several years. Last winter, I put a battery in it, and it started right up, but the alternator was stuck from sitting so long and it smoked the accessory belt. It sat for another year after that. I'm finally prepared to go to work reviving it. It still starts up, but it still needs an alternator and some other things to get it roadworthy again. I'm hoping this forum will help me get answers to the questions I'll have along the way.
Looking forward to driving my old friend again. It took me from IA to CA several years ago. I'd like to drive it to the east coast too.
PS: I also own a 2000 Integra (1.8L, AT, 4DR) which has also been sitting for years, but indoors.
