Default Hello and thanks

I was having a problem with my 97 Accord LX. It has 252K miles on it and still runs very well except for a problem I picked up around 6 months ago. It would occassionaly stop running for no apparent reason. Around 3 months ago, I figured it had something to do with the ignition since I could wiggle the key and get it to cut out. Since I'm the only one who drives the car and it did it infrequently, I decided to wait to fix it until the weather got warmer.

Well, had the kids in the car the other day and it decided to stall while I was somewhat in traffic. Of course, it wouldn't start back up right away. I was ticked off. I started looking up how to replace the switch when I saw on this forum that there was a recall for the part.(the search feature is a wonderful thing.) I called my dealer, got the car in the next day for the replacement, and it hasn't stalled since.

So, using this forum I saved myself the headache and cost of replacing the part myself. Thanks to the people who posted the recall info and description of the problem. May keep the car for another 250K miles now.
