Hey All, we drive an old Innova
Hey, great site! A mate put me onto it since we have an old 1992 Honda Ascot Innova (CB3 body shell). It's a derivative of the accord, dependant on what country your in. It's a basic F20A SOHC PGMFI 2.0litre motor bolted to an auto box in metallic blue and just clicked over 216000 Kilometres (134216 miles).
We have had it for many many years as our main family car and has tripped up and down New Zealand many times (towing the trailer most of the time
). The ole girl has been replaced with the Fairmont a few years back. My wife loves it and point blankly refuses to part with it. Her being an Ambulance response EMT from home after hours, the car gets hammered from cold start up on any call outs and still keeps going without much complaint.
I do all the regular maintenance which keeps things going and have done so since getting it. I have just completed a bit of a refurbish on the car sorting all the little things that need doing, mainly cosmetic issues. It has never let us down, doesn't burn oil or use water, no rust, still on the original box & motor. The ole girl 'takes an absolute kickin and just keeps on tickin' which amazes me.
we live in New Zealand (down under) in the Taranaki region. Cheers All, Andy
