Default Hi I am new and in need of advice !!!

Well ppl I just purchased a 2006 honda accord ex-L v6 coupe, only 48,000 miles, great condition inside n out, clean motor and certified first honda.
I am very happy but I would love to customize it. But in great need of advice, I'm a girl and I am new to all this. Ppl tell me that if i put bigger rims i would messed up the tranny and suspension, is this true? I would also like to do sum kind of ugprade to make it have more hp, maybe a fiber hood? Idk guys please help me out!!!

thanks in advance

Welcome...

In the tire section I'm sure you will find options for bigger rims. I think the key thing is to keep the "overall" tire diameter the same....bigger rim = lower profile tire.

Performace items, again there is a good section in the forum you can search for ideas, you'll need to figure out your budget. Then come up with the plan and go for it. I don't mod any of my Honda's, the Chevelle is another story. Either way, IMO, you are better to plan the end, that way you don't do double work and waste money.

Welcome to the forums.

You've got more guts than I do to start with wheel and hood mods right off the bat! I'm only looking at adding an ipod connection. The instructions for your 2006 should be the same as my 2004 so if this is something you are interested in check out the A/V Electronics forum.
