I'm approaching 150k miles on my 2006 accord, what problems should I look for?

I'm coming up on 150,000 miles on my 2006 Honda Accord. I've already had to replace the starter and battery, what else should I expect?

The usual, brakes, water pump, alternator, radiator..., don't over-think it though, fix when broken and carry on.

So what if I want to do a little preventative maintenance and replace the water pump and alternator etc before they go out. Would that be ok?

I never recommend preventative maintenance on such things; replacement parts are often as likely to fail in the short term as the oem units. The fact is, the water pump and alternator in your car might fail tomorrow, or they might fail at the 300,000 mile mark. Leave them alone unless they fail.

Yup, if it isn't broke, don't mess with it.
