sup guys,
Sean from Richmond, VA. just purchased a 2001 honda accord EX 4-door , 4cyl Vtech as a travel car. I also have a 2003 dodge ram Hemi sport (incase you guys wanted to know).
Ive had the accord for like 4 months. bought it w/ 68K miles on it. I have about 76K right now from traveling for work. its a great car. good power. My questions are..when should i start replacing things like timing belt, etc. Also, I use mobil 1 and use shell gas 87 w/ seafoam additive, great stuff!! hope to hear some feed back. Thanks guys.

Welcome!
You ought to be doing the timing belt every 90k miles so you can relax for awhile. There's a balance-shaft belt the goes along with that and most people say to replace the waterpump along with them.
You must be new to Hondas, 'cause you spelled it Vtech like the phone. It's VTEC.
FYI, just a couple unique Honda things...
Don't use generic power steering fluid. It's pretty unique so either buy it from a dealer or make sure it says "FOR HONDA & ACURA". Don't believe it if the bottle says for all makes.
If you have an auto tranny, it likes genuine Honda ATF better than Dexron.
Browse the forums & post your questions. There's a lot of good stuff here.
