Default I'm new!

Hi guys,
Just bought an '00 Ex. Love it! Hey, is the shifter indicator on the console under the shifter (it's a auto) supposed to be illuminated? If so, is the bulbs easy to access?
Thanks!

Welcome to HAF.

Yes at night/day the "position" of the gear shift should be lit up. Is it the numbers/gears or just the area?

Thanks for the welcome! I didn't answer the question because I didn't understand it

" Is it the numbers/gears or just the area?"

Could you rephrase that?

At night or during the day, the center console should light up as to what gear you are in.

So in the day time, in the shade or something - do the "gear lights" work? However at night - headlights on - they do not?

Or are they out at all times?

Please don't be afraid to come back with "I'm not sure what you are asking". WE are here to help, so if I or anyone else post something that isn't clear - just let us know.

Yes, sorry. I'm prob one of the worst at being a little short when asking questions

Yeah, the light in the shifter doesn't work at all. I found
of a bulb change, and it really looks like a pita, but I may attempt it someday, but it's going to be a low priority project. Lots of pieces to remove for such a small bulb
