Having issues with my 1988 Accord. Screeching noise upon starting up, goes away once i gain speed. When i slow down to turn, the screeching happens again and the idle drops below 1000 and car tries to die and will if i dont have the brake and gas pedals pressed together. Cannot figure out what the issue is to fix it.

 

The noise could be from a belt - check the tension on them.
