Default Need Help Pricing my 98 EX V6

Thanks in advance for the help.

My wife and Ihave finally decided to retire our 98 Accord V6 (4DR). It has 68000 miles, did all the services so far except timing belt.

We're planning on getting a new car and I'm trying to decide if I should stick it out and try to sell it on my own or trade it in. This wouldn't be a difficult decision except:

1a. My wife swiped a post about two years ago so there is a scrape/dent on the RR door and quarter panel (would require a trip to body shop to fix)
1.b Car was rear-ended when my wife first got it in 98. Repaired by a decent body shop but shows up on CARFAX.
2. Brakes are starting to squeak
3. Car is due for timing belt/water pump

Because of the body damage, I can't get good money for a trade in (most I have been offered is $5k). However, they aren't asking any questions about the maint as the dealership plans to wholesale it out and not deal with the body work.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Thanks

If you dont need the capital, fix it and sell it. Youve got a low mileage accord that's been well taken care of. Should be able to make it worth the time.

Sell it yourself, even if you dont get as much as the dealer wants to give you(you will usually get more though selling by owner)...the dealer will get their money one way or another, trust me...its always better 99% of the time to sell out-right.
