Me:Hello, my name is Bill and i just bought a Honda. Accord forum members: ((((( HI BILL))))))) jk Anyways, i just bought a clean 1991 Accord se 4cyl (2.2L) auto trans with 230,000 on the clock. Don't worry, it was dirt cheap. It does have bugs here and there but i think its workable. The cooling fan and ac fan motors need replacement (i got them working after tapping them with my pocket knife) the trans was slipping and "hunting" a little so I'm in the process of flushing it out and with the first trans flush it seems to be a totally different car. It's only shifting hard now. It has a little bit of a rough idle at red lights and i could use a few diagnostic tips on that. My biggest worry is that the previous owner only drove the car 2 MILES A DAY. I'm going to run mobil 1 high mileage full synthetic and drain and fill the cooling system when i replace the fan motors. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanx.

my favorites and a 1991 was the 1st one I ever bought brand new...
