I bought an 05 accord v6 and loved it. Then my daughter decides to go graduate nursing college w/ honors and gets a job at Boston Childrens Hospital working 3 days and starting at $60K a year. But her credit got screwed when as a freshman all these credit card companies throw cards at them and they use them because their broke. So what does this have to do with anything? Guess who's driving my V- Accord? Nice graduation gift, huh?

My wife traded her Acura MDX in for a Dodge Hemi Magnum. Fun ride but she won't let me drive it.

I needed a project car and have always wanted to do an accord. I have a $3000 stereo system sitting in boxes for 2 yrs. now. I also am sick of driving my 04 F-150. So I spent time looking and found a mint condition 101k mile 94 Accord LX wagon. It just had it's timing belt replaced,rear cam oil seal, plugs, wires, fluids, belts, exhaust, brakes, tires, struts and bushings and CV boots. I paid $3500 Was that fair? I've been looking at an H22a swap. I found a motor and auto trans w/ obd and ecu and 50K on it. Would that be a start. We here in NH just started emissions testing. How does that work?

 

hey welcome to the site. you should turbo your car. with a 7 psi kit you would gain 50 percent more horsepower and would toast a regular cab short bed hemi powered ram, it would just be ugly how bad the hemi would be smashed. on the freeway the slightest amount of gas will send you to 120 quick, and top speed would probably be close to 150.

 

I think you got a fair price and are on the right road. I don't have enough knowledge about engine swaps to say yea or nay.
