Default New to forum, not to Honda

Hi all,

I've been on model specific sites before (MG, Jeep, Subaru), but never felt the need to check out a Honda site. My wife and I currently own a 2000 Honda Accord LX, 4d, 4cyl, with 127K miles on the odo. It has been a good car these past 6 years, with my only complaint being a lack of power for passing. While this is the only one we have owned, our families have owned them for almost 20 years, including a 1987 Accord LXi, 1989 Accord 2d, 1995 EX 2door, 1998 Prelude, and finaly a 2001 EX 2door V6.

Just thought I'd check things out here.

Eric

Welcome! Just so you know, I am currently the owner of my first honda and I have really relied heavily on this site for a lot of info. Don't care for the passing power of your LX, these guys have all the know-how to get you up to speed.

a nice add on for the v6's is a short ram intake which smooths out your power band and may help you with the high end rpm's/passing
