New to forum, searching for an accord
I am new to this forum and joined because I am in the process of looking for a used honda accord. Because my family and I are trying to reduce our debit my budget isn't what it used to be. Looks like I will be able to afford a higher mileage car, looking around 90,000 miles to 120,000 miles. My question and request, are there years of accords that are better than others? how about engines, is the v6 better than the 4 cyl? I am just looking to get the most durable car I can find. Thanks.

In my opinion the 94-97 4 cylinders are the most reliable and cheapest to maintain. I myself have one with 200k miles on it and have done almost no maintenance since I bought it at 160,000 miles.
The 98-02s had automatic transmission issues especially with the V6. If you know how to drive a manual then one of these wouldn't be bad but I would avoid the automatics.
I would say either 94-97 or 98-02s the 4 cylinder is better than the V6. They are simpler and easier to find parts for. Also the V6 had minimal power increase over the 4 cylinder so there really isn't a point in getting one.
