Hey, everyone. I am new to this forum, and forums in general, really. I live in the Dayton, OH are and I have a 2002 Accord EX coupe that I absolutely LOVE (and, I love Honda in general, really). I have had it for a year and it has been the best car I have ever had.

However...there are some things I want to do to it. The clear coat is starting to come off, and I wanted to change the color anyway. Since the clear coat is messed up, I might as well just get the car painted the color I want since I plan on driving it until the wheels fall off. Only problem is, I have never had a car painted before, I know nothing about what is a good price (and what shops do high quality work with high quality paints), or where to go.

Anybody got any tips? Would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi New Member and Thank You for joining the forums..
Check with a local Automotive paint store and pick out a paint color you like say mayber candy apple green for instance...then ask the paint store manager if he would reccommend a painter who can lay down that paint your buying from him the best..
Hope that gives you and idea..

Now, that's a route I would not have thought of going. Thanks for the tip. I just don't want to get hosed A) because I'm female and B) because I obviously don't know anything about cars...know what I mean?
