Hello. My name is Ali. I own a 95 Accord EX. It's just a daily.
I used to be a huge VW enthusiast until 2 blown transmissions, a crappy rebuild, and a huge hole in my pocket later, I threw in the towel on the Jetta and my uncle gave me the keys to his old Accord that had been sitting for a good year. Never thought it would start, but it fired right up and had no issues rolling 45 minutes back to my place.
A year since then, I haven't had a single problem with it. With all the money it's saved me I'm looking to purchase my next Accord (I really want a wagon..) sometime soon.
It has over 300k miles, anything beyond that is unknown because the odometer stopped working along with the speedometer. It's a bit rusty, banged up, burns oil, but overall the best damn car I've ever owned. Not to mention it was free and I gained a couple grand from insurance after some kid hit me; resulting in the totaling of his Kia and barely a scratch on my rear bumper.
Safe to say I said screw the vdubs.
I'll throw in a picture, although it's nothing beautiful.
My old broken down Jetta is in the background. Haha.

I grew up outside of Chicago and with the humidity I've been getting on the east coast I really miss the snow. More accurately I miss Chicago's ability to deal with the snow. When I lived in Maryland an inch of snow would shut the place down.
