Question New Guy from MI (Honda Accord 2002). Where do I start with modding?

Hey I have a Honda Accord 2002 and I want to start modding but I have no idea where to begin. My friend told me I should start with suspension, lowering the car. Among other things, what kind of springs should I get, how do I install them, what should I do to the car afterward. The honda is stock so its untouched so far. Thnx for the help

Thumbs up Hi New Member

1st thing you need to do is to put in your info in your signature box..you do that where you signed up at..year,make,model,how may doors, engine size, Auto or Manuel trans-see what i'm saying.then we can help you -help yourself..If you noticed I put in your location on the top right corner of your post.

For instance..lowering springs 2002 Accord..different spings for a 4cyl than a 6cyl.
BY the way I have both pairs For Sale...see what I mean..

After you fix your post..PM me about them.

So welcome to the forums..read the rules and post in the correct forums..

Kind of sucks when you put in the effort to be friendly and helpful and then the user disappears. It hasn't been too long so there is still hope he will come back.

Most people start with lowering, intake, header, and exhaust. Then you can move onto rims, cams, lip kits etc.

As far as lowering springs eibach is what most people go with, best balance of performance and price. As far as installing its not really something you can do yourself, you need a spring compressor, homemade ones can be made but its very dangerous considering the amount of power built up in the springs.

Signature...
Find the "User CP" button & browse around inside there for a bunch of settings. Signature is a bit funny, because it looks like you can edit it in place. But no... you have to press the "edit signature" link.
