New I4 EXL but thinking of upgrading to V6
Greetings everyone! I just picked up a 2015 EXL with the 4 banger and love the car aside from its lack of oomph. I knew this going in but decided it was time to do some adulting with North California gas prices. A few weeks in, I am a bit underwhelmed with the gas mileage. My commute is about 40 miles of mostly highway driving with a few minutes of heavy traffic on each end. I am averaging between 28-30 mpg on each tank of gas. So, I am starting to wonder if I would be happier with a V6 if there is not much difference in mpg? The drive is a little hilly in Solano County but not too bad.
So, what kind of mileage are you 9th gen V6'ers getting with mixed driving?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, welcome to the forum
I traded a 2015 Sport (2.4L) for a 2016 EX-L V6 only because the dealership gave me a great deal on the transaction. I had driven the '15 Sport for a year and was averaging 20-22 mpg in the city and 30-34 on the Interstate... the '16 V6 is delivering 18-20 in the city and 28-30 on the open road
