The 1996 Honda Accord is available in eight models: 25th Anniversary, DX, LX, EX, LX V6, and EX V6 4-door sedans; plus LX and EX 2-door coupes. All Accords have 1997 side-impact protection, dual airbags, child safety locks and child seat anchors. Standard features on the DX include power steering, tilt steering column and a fold-down rear seat. The LX upgrades the DX with air conditioning, power windows and 15-inch wheels. The EX upgrades the LX with an anti-lock brake system (ABS), a 2.2-liter VTEC engine, moonroof and alloy wheels. The LX V6 and EX V6 sport a 170-horsepower V6 and standard ABS.
