Thought I would sign up and let some vets in the car game school me.
We'll I'll break it down for you people on the Accord forums. I just bought (leased) my first car ... yea finally @ 26 years old.

I got a used 2007 AT Honda Accord 2.4 lit. Lx 4 door sedan.
Recently I've been asking my friends if it would be cheesy to somewhat mod out the car with some import parts but it's automatic.

One person suggested I start with a K&N Short Ram Intake (Saw this also adds 7+ HP to the car) and just stop there.

I wanted to buy a new hood (Carbon Fiber) for the car, one because there is a dent that is bothering me and two I think it would look better.. no?

Of course Rim's are a must. But for the interior and exterior would it be recommended to add some things to the car to give it some swag?

Thanks a lot and nice to meet whoever replies!

& no. I don't live in a igloo. & yes we have TV.

My only concern, if it is a lease, are you going to buy it at the end. Just worried that whatever you do to it might have to go with the car at the end of the lease, or some fine writting that you have to pay to "put it back"............check into it, and good luck with what ever you decide to do.

Welcome, I have always had a fascination with Alaska myself.

As far as modding the car goes, I also would be hesitant to modify a leased car, because at the end you will probably have to install all the stock parts again.

An intake is cheap, easy, and easy to swap back so maybe that isn't a bad idea.

I know CF hoods don't stand up to sunlight very well, but I'm unsure how they stand up to winter. Just a thing you might want to look into before you spend $500+(plus I'm sure it would have to be shipped from CONUS which would cost an arm and a leg).

Live2Rice is correct with his post. You do have to turn it back in with all the original parts in place..even the wheels that were OEM..tires can have been replaced and if they are not like new tires..they will put on new and charge you anyways..
