new owner 2008 accord. still like my 5.0 stang
the new 1 is really nice, cant belive its only a v-6. i really belive it might keep up with my old 86 gt 5.0 stang. glad to join, i has a 1981 civic way back when, great car but i out grew it, had a few old muscle cars, still have the 86 stang, we traded in my wifes 2001 volkswagon beetle for the new honda, big improvement. she had a turbo in it but the accord smokes it. is there any intake mods for the v-6? thanks , ill read this fourms everyday, i am retired railroad worker. i also have a 2002 f350 7.3 powerstroke diesel that just hauls but too. i like to mod my cars a bit. but i got to keep it for our retirement ride too.

I am a fellow 5.0 enthusiast!
My first car was a 1990 GT (5spd). A woman ran a red light and I t-boned her and it totaled after I only had it about a year or 2. It only had 100k on the odo at the time. Then I got a 91 5.0 LX Convertible (automatic). Drove it all through college. My dad finally sold it about a month ago. It had almost 180k on the odo and still ran like a champ. Sold it to a kid that needed it for college.
Someday I would like to have another one....
WELCOME!!

yes they were nice cars, still have my 86 bought new. loved it but this new accord is so much nicer. took the accord out today for some break in fun, its only got 120 miles, did some freeway driving and city stuff, put 80 miles on it today, it sure seems to have plenty of passing power, cant wait till get 500 miles on it, then the fun starts.
