Hi, my 'new member intro'...
My car is a very sweet '93 Accord. Aussie delivery. (4cyl) I love it. Had it since it had about 90,000 ks, when I bought it from the first owner who was a work mate, so it's history is known, i've run it up to 425,000 ks.
Virtually never missed a beat, with minimal servicing (by myself), the only time it's let me down was when the fuel pump died. I've had the timing belt and water pump done once, and I'm 'scratching' to think of anything else that needed replacing apart from little things like blades, bulbs etc.
Superb reliability/longevity, and still a car that I'd buy new if I was 'in the market'. It's 25 years old now, yep a little tired now, and with a intermittent brake vibration which is annoying, but I'm going to keep it running!
I have one issue which I'll ask about later.
Cheers, Jools
