I have a 96' Acura 3.2 TL with 230K miles. I love the car for it's looks and its reliability, but when things fail replacement parts are too expensive. When something breaks that costs more than $1000 to repair, I will replace it with a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L (4 cyl) sedan. This will likely be in 1-2 years.

The reason I've joined this forum is to learn about common problems with the 8th generation Honda Accord models, particulary the 2009 EX-L (4 cyl) sedans. Any tips for finding this information on this forum would be appreciated.

Thanks - I will use the search forums as much as possible, but I've started out wthout much success. Topics like "Common Problems" and "2009 EX-L 2.4L" did not find any hits.

Is there a simpley way for me to limit my searches to 8th generation EX-L accords with 4 cyclinder engines?

 

Other than useing the search...I don't know of any way.
Maybe one of the other guys with your year will come in and help you out with this...

To be honest, searching for that would be difficult. I wouldn't know what particular words to search for.
