Default Newbie here

Hi All

Just hoping to learn more and interact with you guys. Picking up a '04 Accord Coupe 6 speed Wednesday. Buying it in Cleveland Ohio (former 1 owner SC car) and driving home to Northern Virginia Wednesday.I'm sure I will have some questions in the future, and hopefully I can help as well. I also have a 99 Tahoe two-door 4WD, lowered, and a few custom touches, and a 2003 Harley Davidson Fat Boy. Been a gearhead all my life (55 now) but new to the imports basically. So if I can help in other areas, please post!

I am already loving it. Picked it up yesterday in Cleveland, and drove it 390 miles to the Washington DC area. Got an excellent deal on the car, and other than a "repaired" seat bottom and only the valet key... VERY happy. Drove basically 70-75 mph all the way, 6 hours, and got 30.5 mpg.It has an AEM intake, and a Magnaflow exhaust... makes a little more noise than I care for, but I will get to it sooner or later. Picked up the programmed master key today, so that is off the small list of to-do's.

Nice.. .yeah those sidewinder keys aren't cheap - that's for sure!

Nice mileage, and yeah the magnaflow is a bit loud for my taste but it's apparently a good buy either way.

Mind if I ask your purchase price (ballpark?).

I'm considering mine to upgrade to a v6 and wanna see what kind of markup people do for their mods, and since i have some nice mods i'd like to get my money's worth.

Can we also see some pics? And also is it i4 or v6?

Have fun!

Yeah, the Magnaflow is a little to "buzzy" for my taste too.

I paid $13,700 for mine, pretty much everything but Nav and fogs, but bought a new set (factory) from ebay for a good price as well as a rear lip-style spoiler. Those will go on the car when it warms up a bit.

If the weather holds out, I will try to get some pics up and work on all the signature things...

Yes, the car is a V6, and being an old american car hotrodder, I am quite impressed with that Vtec power, it starts to scream around 4500rpm
