Newbie from LV
Hi, I'm a first time Honda owner and new to the forumand I just wanted to drop by and say hi.
I bought my '99 Accord EX V6 Coupelast October and I have been extremely happy with it. It is Flamenco Black with black leather interior and wood trim. It had approximately 122k miles and it was completely stock except for thechrome rims that the previous owner bought at Discount Tire. The automatic transmission had been replaced at a local Honda dealership at109k and the timing belt was also done at 99k. The car was in excellent condition and the 2 previous owners kept all the service records.
Things I have done so far: synthetic oil change, transmission fluid change, replaced cabin air filters (took about 2 hours because I had to take apart the dash, and man, they were dirty!), replaced the broken passenger side motor mount (this was easier than I thought), painted the calipers blue (to match my license plate),bought 4 new tires (Yokohama YK520), added a chrome license plate frame and chrome exhaust tips.
Things I need to do: replace the front motor mount (I posted a DIY request for instructions but so far no one has volunteered anything yet). Thatshould do it to catch up on the maintenance.
Thanks everyone for being so nice and friendly.
Here's a couple of pics of my new ride.

Thanks. The wheels came with the car andit was the main thing that caught my eye when I was looking for this model. The previous owner's wife decided she wanted a new car just after he spent $500 for them. TheSixth Generationcoupes are my favorite because I love the look of the tail lights, and theylook like a totally different model than the sedans. But I think the tail lights were redesigned in 2001.
