Hello everyone.

This is my second car forum. I joined a Prius Chat forum about 18 months ago when I bought my new Prius to learn about the technology of the car and learn a lot of DIY instructions. I had no idea that car forums could be so fun and you could meet so many nice and intelligent people.

My wife has a 2007 Honda Accord that I maintain with DIY oil and filter changes, tire rotations, etc. 47k miles and only one problem so far. The rear right passenger door lock actuator failed at 37k miles. I was pleasantly surprised when Honda agreed to pay 90% since it was so close to warranty and this is a part that should not have failed this early.

I am big Honda fan and really like the local dealership service department. They get it when it comes to customer satisfaction. I wish Toyota could take some pointers from Honda.

I hope to hang around and pick up on DIY pointers and mod pointers.
