Wink Old to fairly new

Hi all I haven't been posting much latley as my old 1998 Accord has been so good there has not been much to post about. But I have just sold it on and purchased a 2003 Accord tourer 2.0 VTEC. I just hope its as reliable as the old one. But so far I have had to replace the battery
(Not the cars fault though) one head light bulb also not the cars fault. Both interior light bulbs
The rear seats don't fold down the drivers heated seat doesn't work and there is a tapping coming from the engine just after its warmed up and then gets less when it's properly warm I will be investigating this later. So there you all are hope you enjoy my little rant. Hello I'm back.

Welcome back, Kwakers

As you were saying, battery & bulb changes can be expected... Perhaps an oil change is in order?

Is the rear seat locked? Pretty sure the 03 (in NA) had a key lock that was used to open it. If that does not turn, what happens if you pull the handle from inside the trunk.....a godd pull on the handle and a pretty good push from the trunk to the inside of the car.

Do either of the seat heaters work....do any of the lights(high/low) on either switch light up.

Sorry...the tech comes out every now and then

Thanks for all your responces first of all oil change is next on the list just waiting for all the filters to be delivered. The car is a tourer (estate) so the rear seats are not locked but I have found out how to work them now. I shall be doing valve clearances when I do the service so hopefully all will be well with the world or at least well with the misses any more issues I will be on the tech post. Bye for now

HAha, you have to translate from British to English for us...
(my UK friends hate it when I say that)

Estate = station wagon
2003 UK Accord tourer = 2003 Acura TSX wagon

Hi took the cam cover off and was about to adjust the valve clearances and much to my dismay I came across number 2 cylinder exhaust cam lobe pitted and peeling looks like the case hardening on the lobe surface is coming off. Now the car is off the road until the warranty company agree to carry out the work.they are saying the cam has worn but I insist its not worn but breaking down the car has had a full service history any ideas on this sort of fault? Is it common? Or whatever?

Got any pic's of the "wear"?

Again, haven't heard of or seen this in NA but they are different engines so anything is possible.
