Owner becomes fanatic
Hello, nice place you have here.
My wife and I have owned a 96 Accord for the last 8 years, it was her car, and it has been a good car, but it wasn't as fun or interesting as my 2 custom vans. It wasn't until recently that we started looking for a new car, that we realized how much we loved "Speedo". Accords go about their business with such clockwork reliability that we often take them for granted. Old VW Beetles are loved for their "personality" or "character", meaning they break down, you fix them, you bond. Accords are often like appliances, you use them everyday but rarely step back and appreciate them. That is until the thought of loosing that appliance arises.
We looked at both Accords and Camrys as a replacement, knowing both are good choices to spend your money on. After test driving a few, especially in the snow, she just preferred the Accord, it was familiar.
We bought a black 07 coupe a few weeks ago and put "Speedo" up for sale, but really don't want to part with him. "Olive" is a beautiful car, and we are really bonding with her, but the thought of loosing our trusty steed has made us reach a new level of appreciation.
Sadly there is no room in the stable for both, but I'm in no rush for that sad day.
