Hello everyone. My names Brandon and I'm from NY, I'm 19 and I've had my 1997 Honda Accord LX 5 speed for 3 years. I got it from my mom who completely blew the motor up and it was also involved in a front end crash. Once I got it, it was rebuild time. Fixed the front end and put on new hood, headlights, front bumper and grill as well as front fenders. Then we swapped the old F22B2 out and put in a cleaner, in much better shape F22B2. Also, a new transmission that was stock for that year and a new clutch. New radiator, hoses, belts, and water pump were put in. For the most part the car is completely stock for that year, except that its got a cold air intake. I put on '02 accord se rims and I really like the way the car looks with them. I've done nothing to upgrade the F22B2 that's in it now but my plan is rebuilt the internals and maybe one day, turbo it out. Its a long and slow process for me because I am a college student. But there ya go, that's my introduction. I've been using this site for researching and learning about the accord and the information everyone posts is great so thanks!

Looks like you have been having a bit of fun so far

Don't worry about the long slow process, that is actually a good thing. That gives you time to research, plan, then research and plan again.....always good to have the "end goal" in mind before starting builds.
